Bella+Canvas has become a popular choice for many who value quality clothes and know how to get the right fit.
However, one common concern is how to figure out the right sizing for the brand. Will Bella+Canvas men's t-shirts fit differently than women's t-shirts? When deciding on Bella+Canvas shirt sizing, many shoppers wonder — does Bella+Canvas run true to size, or should you size up or down?
In this post, we'll clear up any confusion about Bella+Canvas shirt sizing, as well as other Bella+Canvas apparel, so you can be sure to order the right size the next time you need some new shirts.
Bella+Canvas Sizing Tips
The easiest way to figure out the proper sizing in Bella+Canvas shirts is to simply check the sizing chart. The size chart features each type of clothing, such as flowy and boxy t-shirts, Bella+Canvas sweatshirt sizing, and so on. For example, the women's Bella+Canvas sizing chart shows that the relaxed-fit garment in size small would fit sizes 2-6.
But how exactly can you figure out what the right size is for your order if you're not sure? Here are some helpful tips for finding the right size in Bella+Canvas clothing.

Know Your Measurements
When it comes to ordering the right size of Bella+Canvas clothing, knowing your exact measurements is key. However, you'll want to learn how to measure yourself correctly to ensure that you get the Bella+Canvas shirt sizing just right.
For instance, when measuring women's t-shirts, you'll want to measure your bust and waist circumference first. Then, compare these measurements with those on the Bella+Canvas t-shirt sizing chart. This will help you determine if a small or large size would be the best fit for you.
Know Your Measurement Conversions
Knowing your body’s measurements is probably the most crucial tip on the list. To ensure that you are ordering the correct size shirt, you need to know your measurements and how they convert to Bella+Canvas sizes. Always remember to keep in mind that depending on the type of t-shirt or pants, you may find that a small in one size is actually another in Bella+Canvas.
Comparing your measurements to the Bella+Canvas sizing chart can help you make an informed decision when it comes to size selection.

Hi! A Bella+Canvas college shirt I want to order only comes in Unisex sizing, with the smallest size being Small. I normally wear an XS in Women’s sizing and generally find Unisex Small to be too large. Is it possible a Bella+Canvas Unisex Small will work for me (5’4, 110 lbs., 32B, 25 waist, 35 hip)? Thanks!

Hi, Rebecca. Although we think that based on your description the S in Bella+Canvas unisex shirts will be bigger than your liking, ringspun cotton can easily be shrunk. Use the tips given in this article for more information on how to purposely shrink a garment: https://www.shirtspace.com/blog/downsizing-to-fit-how-to-shrink-a-hoodie-shirtspace

Hi, I'm looking to order a Bella + Canvas 3001 Unisex t-shirt. I usually buy sizes 12/14 but would like a slightly oversized look, would a large be a good size to achieve this?

Hi, Della! Great question. A women's 12-14 falls under a large in standard sizing. Women usually find that unisex shirts of the same size feel about 1 size larger than their women's garments. Because of this, we recommend trying an XL in the 3001C. This will feel like sizing up two sizes and give you an oversized look. It will also accommodate for any shrinkage, since it's made from 100% cotton, and will be simple to purposely shrink if you find it to be too large. It's much easier to shrink cotton clothing than it is to stretch it out. You might also perfer a 2XL, if you perfer an extra oversized look. We offer free returns on unworn, unwashed and undecorated (non-drop-ship) items, so you are free to order a variety of sizes to find your perfect fit! Thanks for reading our blog!

Hi, Gina. Although you might be able to get a basic idea of what size of sweatshirt to choose based on your normal dress size, we recommend measuring to be sure you get the correct fit. We recommend checking out our blog article titled, “Sweatshirt Sizing Guide: How to Measure a Sweatshirt” https://www.shirtspace.com/blog/how-to-measure-a-sweatshirt to help you find your sweatshirt measurement. Something else to keep in mind is what kind of fabric you are working with, since cotton-heavy garments, well really cotton in general, tends to shrink after the first wash. Thank you for reading our blog, and we hope we could help you determine which size to select. If you find yourself needing further assistance with sizing, please feel free to reach out to our friendly, US-based Customer Service Team. They can be reached M-F 6:30 AM — 5:00 PM PST by emailing [email protected], calling (877) 285-7606, or using the chat feature on our site (little blue icon in the bottom right corner).

I want to order 4 Elvis t-shirts from Etsy and they say there are Bella & Canvas t-shirts. The reviews look good that it is a quality fabric. But, I need to order 2 of the in XXL. Your chart does not list XXL. Is that size available? Thank you.

Hi, Carol. Sometimes "double XL" can be abbreviated as XXL or 2XL. The image shown at the bottom of this article does not show XXL, but our site does on the product pages. You can view Bella+Canvas' full size chart here: www.bellacanvas.com/fit-size-charts
